Version 2.0.28-prototype · v58 · Android
Install and sign in to Inject Xtend
A direct Android APK download from Joe Straight Magic, outside Google Play. Requires Android 7.0 or newer; compatibility varies by device. No computer, developer mode or USB debugging is required.
- Sign in to your account using your purchase/account email. Verify your email if requested. After payment, choose Recover existing license. For complimentary access, choose Claim complimentary access. Returning users can exchange their matched old license.
- Choose Download for Android, then open the private download link. It expires after five minutes; you can request another from your account.
- Open the downloaded APK from Downloads. Android 8 and newer: if prompted, tap Settings and enable Allow from this source for the browser or Files app opening the APK. Return and tap Install. Android 7: use the older Unknown sources setting in Security, then return to the APK and install it. Names vary by phone. Only use the official account download. You can turn that permission off afterward; future updates may require enabling it again.
- If you already have an owner-signed Inject Xtend rebuild installed, choose Update/Install over the existing app. Do not uninstall or clear app data just to resolve an update error; contact Joe first. Android or Play Protect may show additional warnings. Installation behavior varies by device.
- In the app, enter the same email and your password, then choose Continue. Leave the license field blank to recover your existing account license, or enter the new code shown on your account page.
- If you have not claimed complimentary access yet, open License help → Claim email invitation. Old-license exchange is also under License help. Create account, password reset and verification resend are under Sign-in help.
- Enter your own Inject ID separately in Settings → Inject setup. Your Inject ID is not your app license.
Use the email address attached to your purchase or complimentary access. If the app is signed into a different account, open Account & devices and sign out before continuing.
Updating from an earlier version? Install v58 over your existing owner-signed app. Keep your account and app data; no new purchase or license exchange is needed just to update. Existing v52+ builds check for newer releases and offer More → Check for updates. The updater opens your account download page; you still download and approve installation. There is no silent installation.
The exact tested version is 2.0.28-prototype, code 58. Its embedded “-prototype” suffix is unchanged. Android normally will not install an older version code over v58; contact Joe if you need support.
Up to two active devices. Account & devices includes refresh and device deactivation. Existing offline receipts can remain valid until expiry after deactivation. The account screen is currently in English.
Optional YouTube song preview
The new performer screen receives a new Inject song search, opens a matching visible YouTube result, and attempts to leave it paused. No YouTube API key or saved song catalog is needed. Include the artist and song title for better matching.
- Follow the effect’s setup to manually enable its accessibility service. This is optional for the YouTube effect, not required for every Xtend feature. If Android restricts accessibility for the downloaded app, read the device’s prompt and use its app settings to review the permission; labels vary by device. Contact Joe if you cannot enable it.
- Turn MEDIA volume to zero before tapping Start listening. Silent mode and Do Not Disturb alone are not enough. Xtend does not change the volume for you.
- Keep the effect screen open and send a new song selection through Inject. Leaving the screen cancels listening; returning stops remaining automation.
- Check the selected title and the paused Play control before revealing the phone. Approximately 2–3 seconds of playback can occur before pausing; this is not a silent preload or an instantaneous pause.
- When you want sound, raise media volume and tap Play yourself. Rehearse the complete sequence before performing.
Preview limits: English YouTube only. Ads, consent prompts, device differences, and YouTube layout changes can interrupt the routine. The Android handoff reports a successful official Adele video test on Joe’s Samsung; that does not establish reliability for every song or device.
During an armed run of up to 45 seconds, the accessibility service reads YouTube labels and operates video/player controls. The Android handoff states that no screen history is stored or transmitted.
If installation is blocked
Keep Play Protect enabled. A permission to install from a browser is different from a harmful-app warning. If Android flags the app as harmful, blocks it for an old Android target, or reports a package/signature error, stop and contact Joe with the exact message, phone model and Android version. Do not uninstall your existing app or clear its data to troubleshoot.
Samsung Galaxy: Auto Blocker can prevent outside-store installations even when browser installation permissions are enabled. Check Settings → Security and privacy to identify whether Auto Blocker is the cause, then follow Samsung’s official guidance or contact Joe. Managed/work phones may impose additional restrictions.
Regional requirements: Android developer-verification requirements are rolling out in selected regions, including Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Rules depend on the device and distribution route; the source-install permission does not bypass them. If you see a developer-verification block, send Joe the exact message and your region. See Google’s current requirements.
